Visual Solution Lab (VSL) at Samsung Research America (SRA) is an advanced core R&D research team for consumer display systems and dedicated to build the market #1 consumer display branding power using the latest AI technologies.

VSL plays a pivotal role in developing the next generation AI algorithms for display picture quality enhancement technologies and also spanning the research domain to multi-modal AI for future products that can enrich your life.

Position Summary :

In this opportunity, you will work with a team of researchers and engineers tackling real-world problems. You will have the opportunity to publish at top-tier conferences in AI, computer vision, and more. As a research scientist, you will be involved in very promising team projects with talented people at SRA. You will benefit a lot by working in a fun and creative environment.

Position Responsibilities :

• Conduct research in advanced state-of-the-art generative models for 2D or 3D video generation from multiple modalities including but not limited to image and text using Diffusion, GANs, VAEs, Vision Transformers, VLMs ...
• Design and run large scale experiments to evaluate the performance on various tasks.
• Collaborate with other colleagues and teams to develop proof of concept and demos.
• Summarize findings in top-tier journals and international conferences.

Within the hourly pay rate range, individual rates depend on a number of factors-including the role's function and location as well as the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
