The nurse will work night shifts, with a 12-hour schedule. The position offers a minimum patient ratio of 1 : 6, with the possibility of stretching to 1 : 7. Candidates should have experience in both elective and trauma orthopedic care. Responsibilities will include patient management for total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as orthopedic trauma cases. Familiarity with safe patient handling equipment and orthopedic devices is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with rapid response teams and the management of patients with spinal cord injuries, renal failure, and hemodialysis. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of the importance of punctuality and attendance. Compliance with certification and exam requirements is necessary.
