Job description10 years underground surveying and / or AutoCAD / SurvCAD experience; Registered PLS a plus Proficient with working up check surveys and entering survey notes and take-up Proficient at Carlson Advanced Mining – Underground Timing Understanding of basic mine ventilation Experience in preparing MSHA ventilation / roof control plans and geologic grids Proficient at calculating stockpiles and cut / fill volumes Surface surveying experience a plus Professional oral and written communication skills desired

Responsibilities for this position include :
- Keeping mine maps up to date with accurate information,
- Ensure surveying standards are maintained; check surveys performed on routine basis
- Prepare for and perform month-end duties, take-up, stockpile surveys, etc.
- Fill-in for surveyors when necessary
