Director of Food and Nutritional Services
Seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Food and Nutritional Services to lead and manage a dynamic team in a hospital setting. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations, clinical nutrition services, and dietary complianceensuring high-quality care, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
What You'll Do :
- Lead all food service operations including patient dining, cafeteria, catering, and clinical nutrition support
- Establish departmental goals and ensure alignment with hospital-wide quality and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (including TJC and HIPAA)
- Manage departmental budget, including food procurement, supply ordering, and payroll
- Hire, train, and mentor staff while fostering a collaborative team culture
- Monitor quality and sanitation metrics and participate in facility-wide quality improvement efforts
- Work closely with dietitians and other departments to ensure effective therapeutic and clinical nutrition services
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor's degree in Foods, Nutrition, or Food Service Administration (Masters preferred)Completion of an accredited dietetic internshipRegistered Dietitian with current Missouri license (if applicable)13 years of leadership / management experience in a clinical or food service settingStrong skills in communication, budgeting, team leadership, and food safetyPassion for patient-centered care and service excellenceWhat We Offer :
