A Pediatrics Physician provides urgent care coverage in an inpatient setting, performing essential tasks such as consulting in the emergency department and admitting patients to the pediatric unit. The physician must possess an active VA license and be board-certified, with required certifications including PALS and NRP. This role involves 24-hour call coverage, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients.

Job Description :

  • This is an urgent need for immediate coverage. Eligible candidate must have active VA license and clean history to get through emergency priviliging.
  • See all babies born, c-section coverage, perform consults in the ED when asked, facilitate transfer when asked, admit to pediatric unit

  • Minimum Board Certification : Eligible
  • What is the license requirement to bid? : Licensed in VA or IMLC
