Wages are negotiable depending on years of experience and the range is $24 to $27. Applicants will need to provide references from previous work experience.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A journeyman license is a plus but not required.
  • 7 - 10 + years of commercial or residential experience
  • Ability to install a complete plumbing system for both commercial and residential plumbing projects
  • Ability to read and design blueprints
  • Ability to interpret architectural diagrams
  • Understanding of state and county regulations and building codes
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions as needed
  • Leadership ability is a plus.
  • Coaching and mentoring others is a plus.
  • Specifically, installing plumbing systems requires manual labor, including measuring, cutting, bending pipe material, and assembling valves, fittings, tubes, and appliances such as sinks. You may work in a variety of locations, as the nature of the job requires you to visit multiple sites.

    The work can be both indoors and outdoors depending on the particular project and where the drainage systems are located. In some cases, you will work with a team, work on your own team, and work under a manager.

    This position is a full-time position and may require you to be on-call during the day and / or night.

    Education required :

    A high school diploma or GED certificate is required, a certificate for a plumbing trade technical-vocational program or evidence of a formal apprenticeship program is not required but would be a plus. Must provide a history showing your years of experience as a plumber.Knowledge of building and plumbing codes and the ability to understand building plans are also essential.

    You may need a valid drivers license for this position and be approved by the insurance company to drive company vehicles and operate company equipment.
