Patient Population : Adults & Newborns

Level of Care : LDRP with postpartum couplet care and Level I nursery

Equipment : Omnicell, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, GE Centricity FHR monitoring

Charting : Centricity / MEDHOST

Required Qualifications

2+ years recent Women’s Services experience

Education : ASN or BSN

Certifications :

BLS

NRP

ACLS

Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring

Must-Have Skills

Candidates must be comfortable with :

SVD (no VBACs)

Cesarean sections

OB triage

NSTs (Nonstress tests)

Postpartum & nursery care

Newborn care & procedures

Hemorrhage management

Fetal monitoring + interventions

Management of pre-eclampsia / eclampsia / hypertensive crisis

Common Diagnoses / Treatments

Antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum

Pre-eclampsia

C-sections & inductions

Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia

Floating

Yes – may float to other departments based on census / needs.

Dress Code

Scrub color : Any (standard professional attire; no unacceptable attire per facility policy)
