Process Engineer
Analog Devices Federal LLC (ADFED), a wholly owned subsidiary of Analog Devices, Inc., is searching for a Process Engineer to support the manufacture of complex hybrid microelectronics for commercial, space, and military applications. ADFED is in the process of expanding its manufacturing footprint and scaling production of multiple modules. Due to this growth, the individual selected for this position will be in a unique position to add value on day 1 while working alongside a team of engineers and technicians across multiple product lines. The selected candidate will be empowered to plan, perform, and report on projects targeted at improving delivery, quality, and cost metrics of production programs with the support of senior members of the team.
The nature of projects will require collaboration across the organization with different engineering functions, operations, quality, supply chain, and management to ensure goals are met. Hermetic sealing and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) processes will be the primary focus area, but this individual may also be asked to support design, continuous improvement, and root-cause corrective action tasks among various other efforts.
This is a hands-on position that will require learning and becoming proficient across a multitude of automated and manual pieces of equipment as well as the operations that utilize them. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of electronics construction with a strong aptitude and interest in working with automated and manual assembly equipment as well as the communication skills required to work with various team members.
This is a visible role that will require the qualified candidate to be adaptable, take initiative, and be a solid team player. Additional opportunities exist for growth leading data collection / visualization (i.e. SQL database development and PowerBI visualization), working in collaboration systems (such as SharePoint), and statistical analysis to drive business improvement efforts.
Qualifications :
The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $74,400 to $102,300. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
