Security Officer - Campus Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol Full-Time in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $12.43 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities as needed in accordance with site protocols.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
