Job Description :
The Office of the Attorney General is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time (40 hours / week) Paralegal position in the Child Support Division located in our Augusta Office. This individual will provide in-office support to Child Support AAGs with heavy litigation caseloads.
Duties include :
The ideal candidate must be self-directed, highly organized and accurate, with the ability to work efficiently and independently. The candidate must be able to work with attorneys and staff at all levels and to communicate professionally with the client, the public, co-workers and supervisors. A strong work ethic is imperative.
Office of the Attorney General
Minimum Qualifications :
A Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of paralegal experience in a law firm, court, or legal services agency - OR - graduation from an approved, accredited paralegal program of instruction and one (1) year of paralegal experience. Equivalent related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting multiple attorneys in a law office setting and who are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
