Respiratory Therapist (RT)
Looking for a talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Job Description
Oxygen therapy
·Oxygen weaning
·Aerosol therapy
·PEP therapy
·Deep breathing and coughing
·Respiratory muscle training
·Incentive Spirometry
·Chest physiotherapy
·Oro/Naso-pharyngeal suctioning
·Tracheo-bronchial suctioning and tracheostomy care
·Airway management/assessment
·Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
·Pulmonary function testing
·High-flow oxygen
·6- and 2-minute walk testing
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
