The Manager Global Virtual Implant Positioning Operations will manage the overall planning function(s) for all global VIP production activities. Leads the global VIP production team and scheduling for all plans both digital transfer data and 3D printed solutions to ensure on-time delivery of all pre-operative plans. Works closely with Software development, SQA, ADI, Engineering, Quality, AMI 3D print team, and Product Management to ensure quality service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manages the day-to–day activities of the VIP Preoperative Operations processes for all pre-operative planning activities.
- Manages a team of individuals to provide scheduling information, ensure alignment with production schedules, and date of surgery requirements
- Keeps abreast with changes affecting both supply and demand for products and materials
- Plans and forecasts for future demand levels based on sales forecast, current demand levels orders
- Establishes appropriate team staffing needs to ensure proper customer service levels
- Works with various departments to ensure the optimization of service and processing
- Monitors variations in forecast and capacity levels to maintain proper field service level
- Attends new product introduction meetings, presenting on behalf of VIP Ops as needed
- Coordinates with multiple teams to improve production efficiency
- Collaborates with Customer Support team leaders to help monitor all SEMS intake requests and complaints; Leads monthly meetings to review quarterly findings.
- Works closely with VIP leadership to ensure alignment of new developments; Manages testing and integration of new product releases
- Work collaboratively with Quality Management to identify operational initiatives for product throughput
- Monitors productivity of the team and works with supervisor to staff according to demand
- Performs corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance within functional area and support the compliance objectives of the organization.
- Develop and implement global operational strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives across different regions.
- Manage and coordinate with regional operations managers in various countries to ensure consistent performance and adherence to global standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes and systems worldwide to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards in all regions.
- Monitor and report on global operational performance metrics to senior management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams globally to ensure alignment and coordination of operational activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners worldwide to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor of Science degree in Business or related field required8 years relevant work experiencePrevious leadership experience requiredKnowledge and Skill Requirements / Specialized Courses and / or Training :
Full working knowledge of materials management systems required.Ability to become APICS certified required.Ability to negotiate with outside vendors and suppliers required.Working knowledge of large ERP system, SAP preferred.Ability to analyze trends and make available forecasting and other analytics to provide recommendations to the upper-management team required.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management required.Must contain a high level of attention to detail.Ability to lead multiple tasks, projects, and handle simultaneously independently required.Ability to align, recruit, and motivate resources as required to drive performance required.Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment required.Machine, Tools, and / or Equipment Skills :PC spreadsheets, computer software.Reasoning Ability :
