What You'll Do

Manage Project Finances : Oversee project budgets, expenditures, and accounting activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Set up and maintain project data, contracts, and change orders within the accounting system.

Reporting & Compliance : Prepare financial and regulatory reports, reconcile project data, and assist with audits and closing processes to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaboration & Support : Work closely with project managers, department heads, and Purchasing to manage requisitions, monitor spending, and provide financial insights and guidance.

Continuous Improvement & Administration : Track project performance, prepare reimbursement invoices, support annual financial reporting, and help improve financial processes and systems.

Skills You'll Need

• Strong Accounting & Financial Knowledge - Solid understanding of GAAP, budgeting, fund / governmental accounting, and financial reporting.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to analyze data, monitor budgets, identify variances, and recommend improvements.
• Technical Proficiency - Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and experience with ERP systems such as Tyler Munis.
• Attention to Detail - High accuracy in managing financial data, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Effective Communication - Clear, professional verbal and written communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Organization & Integrity - Strong time management, ability to prioritize multiple projects, and commitment to confidentiality.
