Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. Your responsibilities include developing and controlling schedule and budget on assigned projects, and being the point of contact for customer communications, meetings, and questions. This position requires interaction with various departments to address all project actions.

Salary : $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year. The salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in PA. Criteria such as the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge : Manage, coordinate and control Project Work Plan execution to achieve project technical, cost and schedule objectives. Efficiently and effectively work towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple constraints. Lead the project team and regular project meetings to monitor and drive progress toward project objectives. Maintain effective customer communications, ensuring that all customer requirements and expectations are addressed effectively. Address and resolve project issues pertaining to project work scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resource assignments, cost, customer interface and other project related activities. Communicate project progress, issues, and / or resolution options to project team members, customers and EMD management. Review and control project cost, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates. Develop and monitor the Project Risk Management Plan as part of project planning and execution. Interact with Sourcing and suppliers to plan for and secure the materials needed for the project and future production.

What You Bring : Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, Business Administration, or equivalent will be considered. Five 5+ years of related experience in Project management or project leadership experience. Experience with Microsoft Project and ERP Systems. Preferred Project Management Professional Certification. Excellent organization, communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures. Manages Ambiguity, Organizational Savvy, Courage, Decision Quality, Directs Work, Persuades. Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens. Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
