Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Technician on a direct hire basis for our manufacturing client in Macomb, MI
This position is open to U.S. citizens only. Proof of citizenship will be required during the hiring process in accordance with federal regulations.
Pay : 25.00hr - 28.00hr
Shift : 6 : 45am - 3 : 15pm
Summ ary
Responsible for setting up, reviewing, adjusting, and troubleshooting automation and secondary equipment. Accountable for establishing, documenting, and refining processes to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production. Plays a key role in maintaining equipment performance, supporting product quality, and partnering with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Duties
- To authorize and implement changes to processes or changes to equipment to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
- To halt any production run that creates an unsafe condition or is producing out of specification parts.
- To ensure work instructions, process documentation and setup sheets are accurate, complete and accessible.
- Verify technical data, CAD files, and engineering drawings for manufacturability and adherence to specifications.
- Participate as required in product, tooling and secondary equipment design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Support Mfg. Engineers and Program Managers. Ensure supplies are maintained and re-ordered.
