INVENTORY SUPERVISOR - INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING
ROLE OVERVIEW :
This role is responsible for overseeing the movement and management of materials and inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that supports industrial and energy-related projects. The position ensures accurate inventory control, smooth warehouse operations, and alignment with production schedules. Prior experience in industrial manufacturing or handling materials for oil and gas applications is strongly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manages material flow activities including receiving, staging, stock tracking, and internal distribution for manufacturing operations.
- Maintains tight control of inventory levels, ensuring availability of raw materials and components for production of insulated piping and related systems.
- Coordinates with production leadership to support scheduling priorities and minimize downtime.
- Implements and reinforces safe work practices in all warehouse and material handling tasks.
- Leads and documents periodic cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Assigns tasks to team members and monitors performance for accuracy and efficiency.
- Continuously evaluates processes and recommends improvements for handling industrial materials and large-scale components.
TEAM LEADERSHIP :
Oversees a warehouse / materials team of approximately 13 employees.Provides training, direction, and oversight in accordance with company guidelines and safety standards.Promotes teamwork and accountability among staff in support of production goals.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :
Minimum 2–4 years in an inventory or warehouse leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial settingExperience working with insulated piping, large-scale mechanical components, or raw materials used in energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.Familiarity with warehouse best practices, including storage of heavy or bulky materials.Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or similar process improvement tools is a plus.Detail-oriented with a strong grasp of inventory control systems and reporting.Skilled in using ERP platforms and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).Demonstrated leadership in managing warehouse teams and material workflows.Strong communication and organizational skills.Comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required.CORE COMPETENCIES :

Regular movement including walking, standing, and sitting.Frequent use of hands for lifting, sorting, and handling materials.Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs and operation in warehouse or outdoor environments.Exposure to warehouse and light industrial conditions; occasional outdoor work required.Note : Candidates without experience in industrial manufacturing insulated piping , or oil / gas-related materials will not be considered.
