Salary : Up to $40hr DOE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PLC Technician to join our manufacturing maintenance team. This role focuses on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming , troubleshooting, and repair of all manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will also have strong skills in electrical systems , motor controls , automation equipment , and power transmission systems . In addition to PLC responsibilities, this position performs a wide range of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to ensure maximum production uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting , repair, and maintenance of PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Design, install, and modify control panels , electrical circuits , and machine wiring .
• Program and debug Allen-Bradley PLCs using ladder logic and other software tools.
• Analyze current manufacturing equipment for automation upgrades and process improvements .
• Install, calibrate, and maintain motor drives , sensors , and electromechanical systems .
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on plant switchgear , electrical panels , and control systems.
• Collaborate with electricians to complete facility-wide electrical maintenance .
• Maintain a log of barrel and screw inventory , changes, and throughput for extrusion equipment.
• Safely operate within all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA requirements.
• Escalate issues outside skill scope when additional resources or expertise is required.
• Execute preventive maintenance and ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Complete other electrical and mechanical duties as assigned.
