Job Title : AMG Medical Assistant

Location : Shelby Township, MI 48315

Duration : 3 Months+ contract (Possible Extension)

Schedule Notes : Monday 8-7 : 20 pm, Tuesday 8-5, Wednesday 7-5 Friday 8 - 4 : 30 pm

Job Summary :

• Perform initialresponse screening following protocols approved by supervising provider.
• Escort patient to room and prepares patient for examination, procedure, and treatment.
• Obtain vital signs and record in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Obtain and record patient history employing critical thinking skills.
• Prepare for, set up and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments per protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare, administer, and document oral, parenteral medications, and immunizations as ordered by the supervising provider, documenting administration following the six rights in the EHR while maintaining accurate medication & immunization records.
• Document care provided during patient visit in EHR.
