Job descriptionResearch Psychiatric Center, part of the HCA Healthcare system, is seeking a skilled RN to join our team. This role will encompass working with various units including ADOL, Serenity, ITU, SRAD, and VINE. Responsibilities include assessing mental health status, care planning, medication management, and crisis intervention. Requested Skill Set : Assessment of mental health status, care planning, medication management, crisis intervention. Advanced skills needed : Therapeutic communication, monitoring patients for physical and psychological symptoms. Care Planning : Developing individualized care plans for mental health and behavioral issues. Scheduling requirements : Coverage for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week, including weekends. Days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract. Unit staffing description : ADOL unit takes patients from 12-18 yo, Serenity is a lower acuity adult unit. ITU is the higher acuity adult unit, SRAD specializes in senior lifestyle patients. VINE is a lower acuity adult unit. Number of Beds : ADOL 18, Serenity 24, ITU 32, SRAD 16, VINE 9 Patient Ratios : Nurses 8 to 1, MHT’s 12 : 1 Type of equipment : Meditech documentation system Patient Experience requirements : Follow ICARE values and use AIDET communication behaviors. Dress Code : Nurses wear blue or black, MHT’s wear green or black.
