Robotic Technician

Purpose and objectives of the function

Set fixture, troubleshoot robot, add / edit / programs. Assist robot operator with operating basic hand tools, supply materials to equipment, load and unload items from machines.

Responsible for the Setup and Quality of the robotic welding process.

My responsibilities

• Work efficiently and effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals.
• Assist Robotic welding employees with completing daily tasks.
• Maintain a good housekeeping environment.
• Provide Robot operators with work orders and drawings
• Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory.
• Setup and troubleshooting of the Welding robot and table
• Move materials or completed products to established locations
• Verify visual characteristics per spec sheet.
• Maintain high-quality stands.

Competencies needed for the position (training, specialist knowledge, work experience)

Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Collaborates with

Supervisor, operations engineering Team and Robotic Weld Operators.

Measured on

Quality, throughput, attendance, teamwork, and safety.
