Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist I - General Specialty!

As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in our surgical team by providing exceptional assistance and ensuring a safe and sterile environment for our patients.

Key Details :

Shift : 2nd (Evening)
Hours : Full-time, 40 hours per week with 8 or 10-hour shifts and call responsibilities
Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15
Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
Sign-on Bonus : Eligible for $10,000 plus an additional $2,000 for PM Shifts

Your Role and Responsibilities :

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for optimal patient care.

Utilize aseptic surgical techniques in preparing materials and instruments for surgical procedures.

Set up and organize the operating room, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Assist in various procedures and act as a Second Assistant when necessary.

Transport patients and ensure the readiness of surgical specialty carts.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.

No prior experience necessary, we welcome new graduates!

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and perform various physical activities during shifts.

Exposure to mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards, along with the required use of PPE.
