Job description

The trauma Clinician is an staff nurse who assists in the promotion of optimal trauma care and guidance for patients and their families before, during, and after hospitalization at Orange County Global Medical Center. This individual provides health care in a collaborative and consultative relationship with all members of the health care team providing care to trauma patients. Responsibilities of this role include advanced critical thinking, quality improvement, education and administrative functions relating to the patient's clinical progress during hospitalization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current CA RN license
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC or ATCN
  • CEN, CCRN, or TCRN (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU / ED / Trauma experience
