- Oversee and grow business in the US and Canada, reporting to the Managing Director of the region.
- Be responsible for the development of new direct accounts in both countries.
- Oversee the achievement of business objectives according to the established budget.
- Analyze and improve the profitability of the businesses under your management, in line with the company’s interests.
- Ensure compliance with formal processes and customer contracts.
- Coordinate commercial strategies and ensure compliance with monthly objectives with the account team.
- Oversee collections and provide support as needed.
- Provide commercial direction and support to the team in charge.
- Establish strong client relationships to identify new business opportunities and expand regionally.
- Continuously follow up on accounts handled by the team, providing strategic support and resolving day-to-day contingencies.
- Attend senior management meetings and collaborate with the Commercial Department as needed.
- Motivate, mentor and evaluate team performance, identifying training needs.
- Comply with internal processes for campaign execution and other assigned responsibilities.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare and deliver the necessary information to the Strategic Development sector.
- Develop the communication strategy of the plan and communicate it to the corresponding team.
- Review and validate the final plan delivered by the Strategic Development team, requesting changes if necessary to meet the client’s needs.
- Manage the delivery and follow-up of the Business Plan to the client until approval.
- Communicate the approval of the Business Plan to the responsible teams.
- Coordinate the structure of plans that do not require a Business Plan and validate them with Operations Management.
- Obtain customer approval of the plans and communicate it to the corresponding teams.
- Review the progress of campaigns and make recommendations to optimize their efficiency.
- Approve plans in the system.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Demonstrated experience in account management and business development, preferably in the US and Canadian market.
- Analytical ability to evaluate profitability and business performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Effective leadership and problem solving skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the industry and market in the US and Canada.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA a plus.
- At least 5 years of account management or business development experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong knowledge of business processes and contract management.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
