As a valuable member of the SLBiggs' team, you will be performing accounting and bookkeeping work for a highly diverse public accounting practice principally focused on financial accounting and operations, tax, trust and estate accounting, bankruptcy, and litigation support. Only candidates that possess a fundamental proficiency in QuickBooks and can reliably commute to our Los Angeles office will be considered.

SLBiggs is one of the leading professional services firms providing accounting, tax, financial management, and advisory services in the specialized areas of valuation, bankruptcy, litigation, probate accounting, fiduciary services, and business operations management.

The SLBiggs division provides a spectrum of specialized consulting and accounting services outside SingerLewak's traditional A & A and tax practices. As a niche practice within a large firm, we provide the select skills needed for engagements requiring experience in traditional accounting and tax, as well as valuation, forensic accounting, bankruptcy, trust and probate accounting, and other highly specialized areas requiring unique expertise.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years' bookkeeping / accounting experience
• Must be an expert in all facets of QuickBooks, including entering transactions, making journal entries, preparing financial statements, reconciling transactions, and troubleshooting accounting issues
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally with clients and tax agencies
• Competent in prioritizing, working with little supervision, and deadline management
• Self-motivated and trustworthy
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• BA or BS degree in accounting or finance-related major preferred

Job Duties

$72,000 - $75,000 a year
