Job Description
- Execute brand strategy and tactics within the field, driving sales performance and managing assigned territory and target accounts.
- Build strong customer relationships and address patient needs while adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct and applicable laws.
- Translate brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives into actionable plans that achieve or exceed goals.
Responsibilities
Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, and more, meeting or exceeding objectives.Create pre‑call plans with SMART objectives and conduct post‑call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.Proactively serve customer needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted relationships and achieve win‑win agreements.Develop and execute call plans that maximize coverage, frequency, and sales opportunities with key customers.Continuously build understanding of market landscape, competitors, and disease states, sharing intelligence with the in‑field and brand teams.Differentiating AbbVie’s value proposition, identify, develop, and maintain disease‑state experts and speakers to maximize brand performance.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or at least five years of industry experience with three years in pharma / health / science.In‑depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge with strong business acumen.Proven sales success, with solid presentation skills and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.Excellent influence, credibility, and collaboration skills with peers and cross‑functional teams.Experience in leadership or support roles at district, region, or organizational levels is advantageous.HCIR credentialing requirements must be met, including background checks, drug screens, immunizations, fingerprinting, and licensing as required by state or city.Valid driver’s license, pass pre‑employment drug screening, and meet safe driving requirements.Key Stakeholders
External : Specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other brand area stakeholders.Internal : In‑field team, sales management (e.g., DSM), marketing management, training, customer excellence, and brand plan stakeholders.Additional Information
