Job Description
The Shasta County District Attorney's Office is seeking a Paralegal I or Paralegal II to provide paraprofessional legal support work including legal research and legal document preparation requiring knowledge of legal theory and procedures.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with demonstrated experience in criminal prosecution or a strong interest in prosecution work. They must possess excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, and are comfortable preparing and assisting with a wide range of legal documents.

Working Conditions
Work environment is primarily in an office setting, with occasional travel to court and possible exposure to outside weather conditions.
Nature of work requires sitting at a desk for prolonged periods, using computer equipment, and performing tasks that require attention to detail and accuracy.
