Job description

Overview

Crystal Finishing Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team in Schofield, WI. This role focuses on hands-on process improvement and strategic project execution to deliver high-quality results.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage capital equipment projects from concept to implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools like Value Stream Mapping
  • Conduct time studies and develop labor standards and SOPs
  • Optimize workflows, layouts, and space utilization for efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement solutions
  • Support safety initiatives through ergonomic assessments and OSHA compliance
  • Provide technical support for new products and design-for-manufacturing efforts
  • Deliver daily floor support and contribute to strategic manufacturing plans

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years in manufacturing engineering preferred
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to lead teams
  • Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP / MRP systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for driving results and making impactful improvements
