Job Summary

The Nurse Navigator – Inpatient GI is a Registered Nurse with specialized clinical knowledge who provides individualized support to patients, families, and caregivers throughout the gastrointestinal care continuum. This role focuses on improving access, reducing barriers, coordinating services, and ensuring timely, high-quality care.

The Nurse Navigator interfaces with patients both in person and through telephonic / electronic communication. Although patient-facing, this role is not a bedside RN position. It supports the patient journey by providing education, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and advocating for optimal clinical outcomes.
