Overview
A well-established and prestigious public accounting firm in Bergen County is seeking a CPA to perform audit, review, and compilation engagements as well as support the firm’s tax practice. This role requires a high level of expertise and professionalism in serving clients across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee client engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff as needed.
- Maintain client relationships and provide advisory support.
Qualifications
Active CPA license required.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of public accounting experience in audit and tax.Strong knowledge of audit procedures, compilation, and tax preparation.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.Compensation
