About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and provide customers with support and guidance. You'll use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with all the relevant information they need for the best experience. You'll also work on garment refill and care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service : welcoming and guiding customers through the store and omni-channel experiences where available, supporting direct customer service
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
- Effectively promote and sell our products
- Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
- Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
- Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencersUse product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customersTeam & Development
Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleaguesFollow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the storeGive and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each otherParticipate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for the role and future developmentRetail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment careOperate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practicesContribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms)Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories according to visual and commercial guidelinesEnsure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floorMaintain in-store omni-service and tech services / tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.)Support opening and closing of the storeFollow all health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the roleQualifications
