Position Overview

Responsible for maintaining plant cleanliness at a level to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations; common areas, grounds and verifying the contracted vendor that is maintaining the offices, breakrooms, and restrooms is completing the necessary documentation, following the correct procedures, and utilizing the proper chemical. Maintain accurate records of custodial functions.

  • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-day Introductory Period!

Hours :   Monday - Thursday, 2 : 15pm - 12 : 45am

Pay Rate :   Starting at $18.85 / hr after 90-day introductory period.

Essential Job Duties

Assists production staff in gathering the appropriate chemicals and tools for cleans in the production rooms

Sweeping and mopping all areas of the plant including the hallways and gowning area in the production area.

Operates of floor maintenance equipment

Ensures and follows cGMP standards, SOP’s, SSOP’s, Food Safety Standards as well as workplace safety standards

Verifies of the cleanliness of restrooms and break areas at regular intervals

Replenishes of cleaning supplies and PPE throughout the facility

Works in a safe manner at all times

Completes of Daily Tasks and MSS as needed

Completes weekly inventory of sanitation chemicals

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior manufacturing experience preferred

Competencies

Good written and verbal communication

Good attention to detail

Able to read and write in English

Able to work as part of a team or independently

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is predominantly a highly active in movement role. The job would also require the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and the ability to stand, bend, squat, pivot, reach, and walk for 8-10 hours daily.
