Position Overview :

This position is for a Senior Platform Engineer . You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into addition youll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is an Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a basic understanding of Kubernetes AWS containerization automated test and deployment pipelines.

Candidates may be considered for sign on bonuses up to $35000 consistent with skills and experience levels.

This position is an on-site position located in Chantilly Virginia. Each ARKA location has wonderful attributes as described below.

Required Qualifications :

• BS in computer science or related engineering field
• 5 years of Infrastructure / DevOps experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual or remote teams
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)
• Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience working with CI / CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab Jenkins Github Actions etc)
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash Python GitHub workflows)
• IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security CISSP or CASP)
• Active TS / SCI security clearance with fully adjudicated Full Scope polygraph
