Job Summary : The Distribution Driver is responsible for safely delivering products to customers while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. In addition to driving, this role includes administrative duties such as handling paperwork, managing delivery manifests, and maintaining customer relations. The Distribution Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliveries while upholding high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a van or box truck to deliver products throughout the assigned state and in all weather conditions.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the DVIR log.
• Adhere to road rules and DOT regulations at all times.
• Protect company assets by following established cash handling guidelines.
• Promptly address delivery or customer concerns, reporting them to the Distribution Supervisor.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before departure.
• Communicate effectively with customers, including pre-delivery calls and post-delivery updates.
• Collaborate with the Distribution and Sales teams to resolve any order-related issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery.
• Review orders with customers to ensure product accuracy and handle any rejections.
• Accurately record customer payment details for each delivery.
• Follow safety standards and report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure all delivery manifests are signed, and compliance with regulations is maintained.
