Manager Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Supply Chain Management

The Manager Technical Operations (Tech Ops) Supply Chain Management (SCM) invests in our Purpose by focusing on strategic planning, Transportation Management System (TMS) implementation, and long-term growth of the logistics operation. This role defines the Departmental strategy and guides the Enterprise Logistics Team to support the execution of key deliverables while also cultivating a high-performing and collaborative supply chain to support best-in-class Airline-Supplier relationships and operational performance. The Manager Tech Ops SCM is a skilled communicator and strategic problem solver who looks forward to collaborating across various Departments to making a meaningful impact on Southwest Airlines.

Responsibilities
Provide direction to Leaders and administration for processes and supporting activities utilizing various technical systems to direct the planning and execution of supply chain operations in support of maintaining a 14 CFR Part 121 Carrier's fleet.Serves as the primary representative, knowledge expert, and business owner for all supported functional areas.Foster strong relationships with other Leaders across the Enterprise to facilitate the planning and execution of material support and address critical or emergent issues.Proactively develop professional Employees and Leaders, facilitating their growth and enhancing their operational capabilities.Create an environment of exceptional Customer Service, promoting accountability for operational performance and driving continuous improvement.Partner with internal and external auditing teams to ensure Departmental practices comply with regulations as a Key Sarbanes Oxley Control Owner.Serve as the business owner for all assigned strategic initiatives and ensure they are completed in scope, on time, and on budget.Develop and implement strategic initiatives in the areas of supply market intelligence, supplier certification, contract negotiations and compliance.Prioritize and develop cost-saving initiatives, assign resources, and ensure they are successfully completed.Perform other job duties as directed by Leaders.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Competitive market salary from $132,200 per year to $146,900 per year
