Job description

Seamless Migration is seeking a career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator II Generalist, to join our team in Springfield, VA

Clearance

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (existing clearance required to start)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph

Location

    • Overview

  • Supports the information technology (IT) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) server team by managing enterprise-level, high performance, highly available server technology solutions (systems, applications, and services)
  • Configures, troubleshoots, administers, and maintains the organization's Windows, Linux, and Citrix server environments
  • Monitors and administers the department’s access and transfer cross domain solutions (CDS)
  • Develops and deploys automated mechanisms to enhance operational efficiency and streamline activities across various technologies, applications, and services
  • Maintains and utilizes system configuration and monitoring tools to analyze performance and remediate concerns (e.g., Active Directory, MECM, SolarWinds)
  • Drafts requests for change (RFC) and analyzes submissions from other departments
  • Develops technical documentation including diagrams, standard operating procedures, workflows, and run books

    • Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of progressive, hands-on experience maintaining Enterprise information systems as a systems administrator or systems engineer
  • Certifications (one of the following) :  CompTIA Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  • Expertise in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows, Linux, and Citrix environments across an enterprise
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining access and transfer cross domain solutions (e.g., Secureview, Trusted Thin Client, Trusted Gateway System, X-ARBITOR, high speed guard)
  • Experience with automating deployment and maintenance activities utilizing custom scripts and automation tools (e.g., Ansible Automation Platform, PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Skilled in applying and maintaining Government-standard security configurations based on Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences as well as senior-level executives
  • Meets the minimum credential requirements for a Cyber IT / Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position as defined in Section 6, Table 3. System Administrator (451); Intermediate Level for SECNAV M-5239.2 compliance

    • Nice To Have

  • Experience engineering or administering a variety of IT devices, applications, and technologies (e.g., Cisco, Nutanix, VMware, Splunk, Trellix, Ivanti, ACAS, Rapid7)
  • Understanding of ServiceNow functionality, capabilities, and integration points
  • Familiarity with the concepts, implementation, and operations associated with DevSecOps in an enterprise environment
