Our campus is located at 1601 Maple Street, Carrollton, GA 30118.

Faculty and staff members are expected to be physically present on campus as needed to support the in-person educational experience and on-campus vitality at the University of West Georgia. Depending upon teaching assignments and student demand, this could include the Carrollton or Newnan campuses.

Job Summary

The position will plan and direct the day to day activties of the This position will plan and direct the day to day activities of the Residential Dining Facility; supervise a staff of managers, supervisors, and staff daily to ensure that unit objectives are consistently met and standards are maintained.

This position will also be responsible for management of weekly / monthly inventory reconciliation utilizing product movement reports, inventory activity reports, inactivity reports and variance reports to determine correct inventory valuation as well as identify shrinkage.

Responsibilities

1. -

Plan, organize, and coordinate the work of the dining hall management staff.

Work with Business Manager and leadership to plan, develop, and manage unit budget to ensure fiscal controls (including cost of goods sold [plate cost & food cost percentage, labor targets and controllable expenses).

2. -

Provide goal and performance feedback for the reporting management staff.

Ensures minimum of 20 hours of professional development training opportunities annually for staff.

Oversee the maintenance of vehicles and equipment and direct the team's efforts to keep all equipment and facilities in clean, safe, and favorable running order.

3. -

Review and assess the annual preventative maintenance schedule for vehicles, equipment, and facilities.

Manage the adherence department policies and procedures and to health, sanitation and safety

standards.

Implement operation specific sustainability goals and programs.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

High School / GED

Required Experience

10 years of experience in a high volume food and beverage service environment; or Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 8 years of relevant experience. Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft products to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Proven record of accomplishment in 'such areas as menu management, innovative residential and cash operation dining service programs, budgeting and marketing, food safety, and planning & set-up for special events and catering.

Supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements : Lifting - Up to 20lbs or greater

Proposed Salary

$57,056-$70,720 Annually. Paid on a Monthly Basis.
