Job descriptionLead project workstreams, manage technical issues, and ensure timely resolution. Develop and maintain data feeds, system integrations, and database reporting processes. Provide weekly technical status updates and communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders. Mentor and coach junior developers; share best practices and encourage professional growth. Promote collaboration and accountability across technical teams. Enhance existing functionalities and ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability. Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes. Participate in on-call rotations and act as the first responder for system issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field , or equivalent experience. 8+ years of professional experience in software development and database management. 5+ years in an application or technical lead role with experience in : Database management and administration (SQL Server 2008 / 2012+). Writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. PowerShell scripting and ETL processes. Managing backups, indexing, and database integrity checks. Strong understanding of system integration, performance testing, and risk management . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in Healthcare , State or Public Sector , or Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) . Familiarity with disease surveillance systems and public health data workflows . Experience with Azure, Selenium, Eclipse, and UNIX environments .

Position Overview
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to support and enhance public health laboratory information systems and related applications. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) , leading technical projects, providing mentorship to team members, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and reliable application performance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Serve as SME for all LIMS systems and related applications.
- Lead development, enhancement, and maintenance of disease surveillance systems using VB.Net, C#, .NET Framework / Core, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
- Support integration and reporting processes using WebLogic, XML, SOAP, SFTP, and BI tools (Jasper, SSRS).
- Maintain and support ancillary systems such as Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR) and Rhapsody interfaces.
- Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, and application upgrades / releases.
