Your role and responsibilities

We build the Infrastructure Cloud which allows enterprises to take a unified approach to Infrastructure and Security Lifecycle Management :

[1] Infrastructure Lifecycle Management : Build / Deploy / Manage

• ? [2] Terraform allows you to use infrastructure as code to provision and manage any infrastructure across your organization.
• ? [3] Packer standardizes image workflows across cloud providers, allowing teams to build, govern and manage any image for any cloud.
• ? [4] Waypoint makes infrastructure easily accessible at scale, enabling platform teams to deliver golden patterns and workflows with an internal developer platform.
• ? [5] Nomad brings modern application scheduling to any type of software, allowing you to manage containers, binaries and VMs efficiently in the cloud, on-premises and across edge environments.

[6] Security Lifecycle Management : Protect / Inspect / Connect

We deliver the Infrastructure Cloud through an enterprise-grade unified SaaS platform, [10] HCP, as well as to enterprises through self-managed / on-premises options.

We're looking for an engineer with a strong backend focus to join our Vault Ecosystem team. In this role, you can expect to :

Required technical and professional expertise

You have hands on experience as a backend engineer.

You have expert-level proficiency in Go, with a proven track record of developing complex, production-grade applications.

You have experience working with Linux (including troubleshooting and bash scripting), cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), relational / NoSQL databases.

You have a solid understanding of CI / CD and automation principles (GitHub Actions, etc.).

You have experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform).

You have experience using HashiCorp products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).

You enjoy working collaboratively with a distributed team and you have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical designs.

You value feedback, and seeking ways to learn and grow as an engineer.
