About The Position

Must-Have Skills / Experience :

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Description :

Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients.

Produces diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist.

Provides essential patient care during procedures.

Applies principles of MR safety.

Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program is required.

ARRT registered upon hire.

Must obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year of hire.

Physical demands include pushing / pulling up to 46 lbs of force.

Requires carrying 25 lbs and gripping up to 50 lbs.

Climbing 8-10 inch steps is occasionally necessary.

Reaching forward and bending may occur for up to 5 minutes continuously.

Balance is also a frequent requirement.

The unit cares for all types of patients, including those who are vented and anesthesia cases.

Dress code consists of black scrubs for tops, bottoms, and jackets.

No unacceptable attire is allowed.

Orientation is provided for the evening shift on the day shift.

Traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.
