Those in local taxes at PwC will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on local tax matters. Your work will involve analysing and interpreting local tax laws and regulations, assisting businesses in complying with local tax requirements and optimising their local tax positions. Growing as a strategic advisor, you leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. As you increase in autonomy, you apply sound judgment, recognising when to take action and when to escalate. The Opportunity

As part of the State and Local Tax Team you assist clients in solving business issues related to business restructuring, adoption of new tax laws, and communicating local tax developments. As a Senior Manager you are tasked with leading large projects, innovating processes, and maintaining operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You are also responsible for developing and sustaining client relationships and mentoring staff members.

The salary range for this position is : $124,000 - $335,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individuals skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
