Job descriptionReason for Coverage : Short staffed Total Number of Beds : 17 beds - 12 postpartum, 5 birthing suites No Other OB / GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates Onsite Labs & Ultrasound Office Equipment : Hospital Labor and Delivery Low volume of C-section patients Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day : Varies. Usually under 10 Delivery volume : 746 total deliveries last year Nursery Level : II Documentation System / EMR : Epic Midwives will take call and deliver own patients Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc VBAC’s Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Board Certified – REQUIRED Active KY License – REQUIRED (Exceptions for active IMLC) BLS Certified – REQUIRED Active DEA – REQUIRED COVID Vaccinated – Preferred Must be able to cover any of the dates listed above – REQUIRED, no exception Adjust your work schedule to accommodate personal commitments, hobbies, or pursuits outside of medicine, promoting a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
