The Role

Maintenance Diesel Mechanic for Construction Co. General Mechanic needed for a busy 100-employee concrete construction company. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and ideal for a strong, independent worker to run the department and perform all duties necessary to keep the fleet in top condition. The role involves working on a fleet of mid-sized trucks, diesel F550s and other gas trucks / vehicles, as well as fixing backhoes, forklifts, mini-excavators, generators, compressors and small tools. Computer skills are required to order, locate and order parts and services. Maintain all assets, keep the shop clean and stocked, and prepare for work.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repair of diesel engines
• Conduct routine maintenance on diesel equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe working condition
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
