End Date : March 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00-19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Unit Size : 12 beds

Patient Ratio : 4 : 1

Float Requirement : May float to Telemetry and Critical Care units

Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Kentucky or compact state)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, intermediate care, or telemetry nursing jobs

Experience caring for cardiac patients; ability to remove post-cath stents preferred

Strong teamwork and positive attitude

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to adult and geriatric cardiac patients

Monitor and assess cardiac conditions, including post-catheterization care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Float to Telemetry and Critical Care units as needed

Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH and MEDHOST EHR systems

Uphold facility values of compassion, integrity, and respect in all patient interactions
