Do you thrive in hands-on environments where precision and problem-solving matter?
Are you excited by the idea of testing cutting-edge satellite hardware to ensure it survives the extreme conditions of launch and space?
Join our team as an Environmental Test Technician and play a critical role in shaping the future of space technology.
Why this role matters
As part of our fast-paced engineering and test operations team, youll be on the frontlines of ensuring spacecraft components can withstand vibration, shock, thermal vacuum, and other demanding spaceflight environments. Your work directly contributes to the reliability and success of satellite missions that push the boundaries of whats possible in orbit.
What youll do
- Run real-world space simulations : Set up and operate vibration tables, shock machines, and environmental chambers to put hardware through rigorous launch and in-space conditions.
- Instrument like a pro : Wire up satellite components with accelerometers, load cells, and strain gauges for accurate test data collection.
- Get hands-on with data : Record, analyze, and troubleshoot test resultshelping engineers solve complex issues before hardware ever leaves Earth.
- Keep our labs mission-ready : Perform maintenance, calibration, and upgrades on high-tech equipment, ensuring every test is precise and safe.
- Be part of the build : Support assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) activities alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
