Were looking for motivated Delivery Drivers (and trainees!) to join our team in Rochester, MN.

If you like staying active, working with people, and bringing beer, seltzer, cider, and other beverages to customers across our community, this could be the perfect fit!

What You'll Do :

• Safely load, unload, and deliver products at customer locations
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers as a friendly brand ambassador
• Rotate stock, build displays and collect payments at accounts
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and follow DOT / FMCSA rules
• Represent Schott Distributing with professionalism and pride on every route

Delivery Assistant (CDL Delivery Driver Trainee)

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience

Work Environment

This position is performed in a warehouse or in a delivery truck / trailer with continuous stops at accounts. There is some exposure to weather conditions including extreme heat and cold. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and standard warehouse equipment such as fork lifts, hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

Physical Requirements

Expected Hours of Work

Regular workdays are Tuesdays-Fridays, with a flexible start time ranging from 5 : 30 a.m. to 7 : 00 a.m.

10-hour workdays plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Some Mondays may be required. Some overtime may be expected. Workdays change during some holiday weeks.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area may be expected.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Employees are required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test and are subjected to random drug testing throughout employment with Schott Distributing, in accordance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
