ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1530 - $1640

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 4 / 2025 – End : 2 / 3 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Emergency Department (37 beds, 130 daily visits)

Shifts : 3x12-hour night shifts per week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Charting System : Epic

Scrub Color : Royal Blue

Parking : Free on-site parking

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience in a U.S. hospital

Previous travel nursing experience required

Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State / Compact Registered Nurse license (must be active prior to start)

Certifications (AHA only) : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Preferred certifications : CPI, TNCC

Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system

Clinical skills : arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, ventilator management, trauma care

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages : neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Assess, triage, and manage patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels

Administer medications, manage IVs, and deliver advanced life support interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Accurately document patient care using Epic EHR

Float to similar units as needed to support hospital operations

Participate in emergency preparedness and response, especially during South Carolina hurricane season (June–November)
