Lab Supervisor- Generalist

Job Description

Lab Supervisor - Austin, TX - Monday-Friday 10 : 00AM-6 : 30PM w / Saturdays as needed.

Sign on bonus of $5,000 available (external applicants)

Pay Range : $85,000+ per year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Under direction of the manager / director, plan, organize, schedule and direct the work of the section in order to effectively maximize employees, equipment and material utilization within budgetary constraints while adhering to quality technical standards. Accountable for quantity and quality of specimens handled and test results.

BS in Medical Technology preferred; or BS / BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or Previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493

ASCP Certification preferred
