Talent Corp is seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team for the ground-up construction of a new detention center in Lancaster, South Carolina . This is a long-term project with work scheduled to continue for over a year , and candidates who demonstrate strong performance from underground through finish work may have the opportunity to stay on-site for the full duration.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform underground plumbing installations , including PVC and cast iron systems for sanitary and stormwater piping.

Assist with all phases of plumbing work from rough-in to final trim-out

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specs to determine materials and installation procedures

Install plumbing systems according to local and state codes and detention center specifications

Collaborate with foremen, general contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress

Follow all site-specific safety and security protocols

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial and institutional plumbing

Proven experience working on detention centers, correctional facilities, police / fire stations, or similar secure projects

Strong knowledge of underground plumbing installation using PVC and cast iron

Ability to read and work from construction drawings and specifications

Familiarity with code compliance and industry standards
