Job Description / n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment, requiring ARRT-R, BLS, and Epic proficiency.

/ n / n Responsibilities / n

Position is based in an interventional radiology unit at a hospital setting

Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

One weekday call per week (Monday or Thursday) and one weekend call per month

Candidates must be willing to float within their skillset based on census and staffing needs

Epic electronic medical record system is used and proficiency is required

Patient ratios and assignments are based on acuity and vary when floating

Must be available to work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract

All time off requests must be submitted prior to assignment; no changes once onsite

Return staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year to be considered

Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Modules and Epic training required, with specific training hours to be completed pre-start and annually

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experience required

Active NJ or compact state license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)

Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required

ARRT-VI certification preferred

Prior teaching hospital or community hospital experience preferred

Experience and proficiency with Epic charting system required
