  • Job Summary
  • We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our Sex Offender Treatment Team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients across various adult demographics. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual and group counseling sessions in an outpatient setting. The Therapist will also engage in research initiatives and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of client information.

    • Duties
    • Conduct thorough Sex Offender Speciifc Evalauations and Reports to determine mental health, criminogenic, Risks mitigation and reduction needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
    • Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, including those dealing with PTSD, gender issues, and geriatrics.
    • Offer specialized support to Sex Offenders on federal probation ensuring a safe environment for their therapeutic needs.
    • Maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
    • Participate in ongoing research projects aimed at improving therapeutic practices and outcomes.
    • Stay informed about current trends in mental health Sex Offender Care to provide evidence-based interventions.
    • Skills
    • Proficient in patient assessment techniques and treatment planning.
    • Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatric Sex Offenders .
    • Knowledgeable about trauma-informed care for PTSD patients.
    • Strong skills in medical documentation and maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations in working with Probation Officers.
    • Ability to facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
    • Commitment to continuous professional development through training and education in the mental health and sex offender treagtment field.
